The PPA Awards are the most prestigious platform to recognise the incredible work of businesses and individuals across every corner of the publishing industry. With 27 categories across B2B and consumer media, and judged by a panel of 48 senior executives, there was recognition of creativity, progressive industry initiatives including ED&I and talent.
New categories introduced this year include: Employer of the Year; Newsletter of the Year; and Data Initiative of the Year.
PPA CEO Sajeeda Merali comments: “The PPA Awards are about recognising and rewarding the talented people, the innovative work and the dynamic media publishers, suppliers and partners that make up our vibrant industry. The work of our highly respected editors and world-class writers; the contribution of our market-leading product and data experts; the output of our marketing and commercial teams; the design and creativity that brings our brands to life on screen, on the page and through events. The work that, once combined, helps audiences – both business and consumer – in every aspect of their day to day lives. A huge congratulations to all who were recognised at this year’s awards.”
PPA Chair and CEO Harmsworth, Nina Wright comments: “Business Excellence covers a broad range of areas – from commercial and operational success, to how its people embody the company values and how it can influence its audiences for the betterment of society. Alongside a clear vision for its future, Bauer has demonstrated the importance of using their brands and influence to continually stand up for the issues that matter most to their readers and their teams.”
