We hosted an insights-driven workshop on Thursday 19 June, which focused on how to understand and prioritise your modern publisher tech stack.
Understanding the full media technology landscape presents both a challenge and an opportunity. Today’s product, tech, and data teams are tasked with modernising infrastructure, exploring AI, improving UX, launching new verticals, and maintaining legacy systems – all within constrained budgets.
The gap between ambition and execution remains wide. One key reason: the complexity of available technologies and how (or if) they integrate effectively.
As part of this workshop, attendees got an exclusive first look at the PPA 2025 Media Technology Market Map, which is a key asset to help navigate this journey.
A market map is a visual overview of all third-party providers, vendors, and technologies a publishing business uses – or could use – across all operations. It helps teams understand the ecosystem of tools, services, and platforms that support everything from content creation to monetisation.
The PPA Media Technology Market Map will be living and constantly evolving online resource that can be used by members to understand the potential technology vendors and suppliers to support your business strategy.
